After the second year of committing $50,000 for the SYNC Athlete Fund, we are proud to announce the 2020/21 grant recipients for the upcoming season!
The funds awarded to these athletes will help to offset the costs associated with training and competition for the most deserving and up and coming athletes in the sport to help decrease the funding gap as they strive to achieve the highest levels of competition.
Applicants are selected by a Committee based on three main factors: speed, financial need, and quality of responses to questions and their letter of recommendation. After a thorough review, 32 athletes were identified who best met the Fund's mission and would benefit with support from the SYNC Athlete Fund.
