WHO WE ARE
SYNC Performance's purpose is to help athletes reach their goals.
The hardest working, highest performing, and most technically proficient skiers on the planet; race athletes are the core of SYNC's design inspiration. We aim to develop a bond with athletes along their journeys, and together, we're shaking up the world of ski racing along the way. Rather than pay our way onto podiums - we work with them to design products they love, support them early and often, and celebrate with them wherever their career may go. We want to build the future of the sport of skiing now.
Founded in 2014 by a passionate group leveraging the SRD (Ski Racing Development) brand past, SYNC Performance is based in the mountains of Colorado and run by athletes like you, for you.

Geof Ochs, Co-Founder, Head of Product Development
Geof grew up racing in Vermont with his brother Kris at a small hill called Ascutney that you've probably never heard of. After racing at Boston College, he moved to the mountains of Colorado to co-found SYNC in 2014. He now enjoys freeskiing and mountain bike racing in the Colorado mountains.
Kris Ochs, CFO
Kris raced at St. Michael's NCAA program before moving out west to coach at SSCV and work on finance and investment projects before joining SYNC full time in 2018. His version of racing now includes top 30 finishes at the Leadville 100 and the Grand Traverse ski-mo race from Crested Butte to Aspen.
Makayla Brown, Team and Club Manager
Makayla grew up skiing at Sugarloaf in Maine, then went on to race NCAA at Colby College. Before joining SYNC, she coached U14 Alpine racers at Ski & Snowboard Club Vail. She brings an inside background to team and club relationships. In her time off, she loves running local trails and is learning to mountain bike as well.
Molly Danzig, Logistics and Customer Service
Molly joined SYNC after most recently coaching at MMSC in Stowe, VT. She raced there growing up and skied for Babson's NCAA team. She can't wait to explore all the local ski huts and mountain bike trails after relocating from East to West.
OWNERSHIP
SYNC Performance is wholly owned by a group of investors who care deeply about the sport of ski racing. We are not a portfolio line of a brand conglomerate or tire company, we are an independent ski brand based in the mountains of Colorado. These investors provide guidance on SYNC's mission, vision, and values and keep us true to the goal of impacting positive change on ski racing through the support of athletes.
